What is SEO – The goal of SEO is to gain higher positions in the natural listings of search engines such as, Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. SEO is a structured approach used to increase the position of a company or its products in search engine organic results listings for selected keywords or phrases.

What is Search Engine Submission
This is the the process of informing search engines that a website should be indexed for listing in the search engine results page (SERPS). Initially you can do this by adding a link to a third party website or submitting the website url to Bing for example: http://www.bing.com/toolbox/submit-site-url and on the Google Search Console.
New websites have limited backlinks, history and so a low level of authority. However, we have noticed when a website is launched or relaunched there is a significant jump is traffic, which tends to level off after some months.
What is SEO – Index Inclusion
Ensuring that as many of the relevant pages from your domain are included within the search engine indexes you are targeting against. Ensure these keyword are within the architecture of your website.
It is important for every page to be unique (have a regularly updated xml sitemap file, see our blog for more information on xml). Robots do not crawl all the pages or assign them equal weight in terms of page rank or relevance.
What is SEO – Keyphrase Analysis
Keyword Analysis is the combination of words users of search engines type into a search box which form a search query. Start by logging into your gmail email account and find Keyword Planner within the Tools pulldown menu.

The number of times the keyphrase is repeated in the text of the web page is a key factor in determining the position for a keyphrase, the rule of thumb appears to be between 3 and 7% keyword density.

The number of links into a page and their quality is used to determine the relevance of a page to searchers, especially when combined with the keyphrases on that page.
